Sometimes, the hardest battles are the ones we fight silently. Beneath calm surfaces lie storms we cannot always share, but they shape us in ways the world never sees. This is my story dated 15 June 2025 — a journey through grief, love, and the quiet strength that grows in the spaces between.
Beneath this calm surface, a storm quietly swells—like the sea, still above,
but restless far below 🌊
The sky splits in two—
sunny light on one side,
gloomy shadows on the other.
It’s a reflection of my soul caught between two worlds— my rebirth and her passing.
She was my mother, also the one who drained me all along, and now, in losing her, I feel the ache of mixed, tangled feelings—
grief and relief, sorrow and release,
love and exhaustion all at once. 💔
The suspense tightens, pressing heavier with every breath. One long month in a lonely, aching place my heart never imagined.
I’m waiting every second… but how much longer can a soul hold on?
At 5 a.m. each day, panic wakes me
heart racing, spirit shattered—
too tired to fight, yet forced to stay alert, holding myself together by sheer will.
My mind is ready, but my heart breaks silently— an ache no one else sees.
I grieve deeply, tangled in logic telling me not to fall apart yet…Being the only child, the full weight of responsibility rests on my shoulders.
I carry this burden silently, reporting to the world with respect and deference—
honoring seniority even as my heart screams inside.
Amid the chaos of shifting—logistics like towering waves—I strive to stay mindfully calm.
This is the quiet strength no one else sees,
the hidden current that roots me deeply
when the storm rages fiercest beneath the surface.
With every passing moment, the intensity swells—fear, sorrow, exhaustion crashing in waves I cannot calm.
This in-between place—anticipatory grief is a heavy shadow, raw and relentless, a slow-burning exhaustion that steals my breath and blurs my soul.
Living with anticipatory grief means carrying an invisible weight, caught between hope and loss, between holding on and letting go.
And still, like the sea’s surface beneath the split sky, I am here—breathing… steady… ready.
If you are carrying a heavy heart, know you are not alone. Strength isn’t about being unbreakable — it’s about holding on through the storm, breathing through the ache, and finding yourself shaped by the silence.
